It has come to Labuan FSA’s attention that there are several unlicensed insurance brokers/agents who are believed to be, or to have been, targeting the public, particularly expatriates and high net-worth individuals in Malaysia. The public is advised not to enter into any dealings with insurance brokers/agents and other financial service providers who are not licensed by the Labuan FSA, Bank Negara Malaysia or Securities Commission of Malaysia.

The public is advised to check with Labuan FSA, Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission of Malaysia as to the legitimacy of the companies or their websites in conducting such activities. The list of entities, which are licensed by Labuan FSA can be obtained from Labuan FSA's website www.labuanibfc.com.

Members of the public who come across any solicitation by unlicensed entities and suspicious conduct by company/individual, through its websites, e-mails or any information on the internet relating to investment advice and services, may alert and contact Labuan FSA at the contact number or e-mail below.
